He is regarded as one of the finest, with an exceptional understanding of the UN system and its workings. With a deep interest in Middle Eastern history and politics. So immersed is he in global affairs that even in his sleep, he dreams of peacekeeping mandates. In a committed relationship with the UN Digital Library, impress him enough and he will carry your photo in his wallet. Tough in the moment, he'll make sure you walk out stronger than you walked in. Outside committee deliberations, he's a patron of The Golden State Warriors and is frequently mid-rant about Ferrari strategy, confidently saying "we are checking" while trusting the next upgrade package.

Jashojeet Banerjee
Co-Deputy Speaker
Jashojeet Banerjee is equal parts wit, sarcasm, and drama. The kind of person who'll dodge 19 of your calls only to reply the next day with a deadpan "bol," he thrives on sharp comebacks and below-the-belt roasts that somehow leave you laughing instead of crying. Not one for paperwork, Jashojeet lets his words do the heavy lifting-blunt, bold, and always entertaining. Whether he's breaking down politics with his unique takes or flooding stories with his trademark sarcasm, he's impossible to ignore. And that's exactly why SMUN 2026 needed him as Lok Sabha's Deputy Speaker-because some chaos deserves a mic.

Rohnit Pandey
Vice Chairperson
Rohnit Pandey is what happens when physics meets controlled chaos and somehow decides to dominate a committee room. A second year Physics student at Scottish Church College, he oscillates seamlessly between unraveling the mysteries of quantum mechanics and getting lost in the haunting worlds of Kafka and George Orwell. Beneath that sharp, analytical mind lies a Potterhead who quietly pledges allegiance to Ravenclaw. In MUN circuits, though, he is less of a student and more of a phenomenon. Extremely *diplomatic* (pun very much intended), armed with a wit that lands as smoothly as his arguments, Rohnit has never walked out of a committee without an award, steadily adding to the DebSoc's growing legacy.
